The School Council visited the Houses of Parliament

By Dillon Y6 and Rupert Y6

On 24th April, at 5:30am the JG School Council boarded the coach to go to London with Miss Law, Councillor Wheeler, Mrs Thompson and Mrs Moore. Although it was early, everyone arrived on time and had a good time with friends on the coach. In London, we went straight for our tour of the Houses of Parliament. Overall, we enjoyed going into the House of Lords and the House of Commons. Following on from the interesting tour we went on a boat cruise along the River Thames whilst eating our lunch. After an amusing and educational trip we finally arrived back home. Everyone was very pleased to see us!

    We had a brilliant day!
