  • Running club hit 3miles!


    Happy Feet running club ran 3 miles just before the Easter break. They have been working up to this achievement over the last few months and Mrs Lloyd has been very impressed with their commitment to coming each week and building up to this long run. Well done everyone.

    A huge well done to our wonderful Jesse Gray School Councillors who delivered their very special poems and posters during a very special British Citizenship Ceremony at Bridgford Hall, yesterday.

  • 1st overall school


    1st Overall school for the Mini Marathon. Several Mini Marathon teams won awards at a ceremony held at Nottingham County Ground. We were then awarded the overall schools 1st prize. Mrs Lloyd would like to thank all the children who took part to help us achieve this amazing award.

  • Cricket Finals


    A fantastic day at Oakham School yesterday in the National Hardball Finals.  8 teams from around the country played in the tournament and JG boys did  themselves and us proud.   They persevered through some difficult games, played some lovely cricket, winning their last game, to come out smiling and finishing in 7th place. Well done boys !  The only state school in the country to have made it!

    JG Cricket Team have just won the East Midlands Hardball Cricket Finals! A closely fought match against Ratcliffe College to become East Midlands Champions and a Finals Day at Oakham school next week.  Fantastic team play JG boys - well done!
