Richard Whitehead MBE visits Jesse Gray School in West Bridgford
Richard spent time at the school this morning, joining their assembly and sharing his thoughts on resilience, diversity, and making a difference
He was there to meet, the winner of Footprints’ competition to design the blades that Richard ran with at the recent Robin Hood Half Marathon.
One of our Pupils design was chosen as the winner from over 80 entries, and Richard loved his colourful and impactful creation.
He also shared the video of him winning T42 200m Gold at the London 2012 Paralympics, inspiring the next generation to work hard, believe in themselves, and achieve their potential and ambitions.
