Transition to JG

Hello everyone and welcome to FS2

Mrs Winfield will be joining us in F2 in September.

  It was lovely to meet you at our Parent Meeting and at our Teddy Bears' Picnic. We had a great time on transition day, and it was lovely for all the children to meet Mrs Winfield too!

In Foundation children have their own classroom with their teacher in FJ or FG and a teaching assistant. They also spend lots of time together as a cohort with each other and the Early Years staff team as we have an indoor shared area, an outdoor shared area. Wildlife Area and a large playground.  We find children quickly make lots of new friends as they settle into life at JG. They also have lots of opportunities to learn and play with friends they have known from their pre-schools, who may not be in their class. All the children will have lunch in their classrooms and go out to play together at lunchtime too.

We use 'Seesaw' in school to share photographs, updates, announcements, messages and home/school learning activities.
