Message from the Chair

Message from our Chair of Governors, Liz Hopkins

When my first child joined the Jesse Gray family in 2017, I was keen to support the school and I become a Governor. After over three years on the Governing body, and now two children at the school, I am proud to accept the role of Chair of Governors.

The Governors are responsible for overseeing the management of the school: strategy, policy, safeguarding, budgeting and staffing. Under the effective leadership of Chris Belton and his team, we support the school to provide high-quality education to all the children.

We have a fantastic group of Governors at Jesse Gray, with a vast amount of experience and skills from a wide variety of roles and industries. As Jesse Gray looks to the future, we continue to work together to deliver ambitious plans that inspires and challenges all children and creates an environment where children enjoy and achieve.

We each have regular contact with the school and meet formally as a group each term. You will find the minutes of each of our formal meetings in this section.
