Jesse Gray is a large, mixed primary school serving an area of detached and semi-detached housing in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Most of the building was completed in 1951, but over the past 20 years extensive development and extension have been done. We have excellent outdoor facilities including a large field, a wild area with pond and an outdoor classroom, an all-weather surface and a large hard-play area to which we have added trees, shrubbery and seating.
The school is accessible for all ; with ramps, lifts and disabled toilet provision available where needed.
Jesse Gray Primary is school community which is built upon partnership to the benefit and enrichment of all. It is a focused body of people with belonging and inclusion at its heart.
Our aim at Jesse Gray is to encourage in our children the enjoyment of learning.
We work hard to ensure that JG is place where your child will develop and become an active, enthusiastic learner who comes to school each day expecting it to be challenging, relevant, creative and fun.
We believe that all children have talents which can be developed, and that all can succeed no matter what the level of their ability. Providing equality of opportunity irrespective of race, gender, religion or disability, for all our children, is key to our philosophy which permeates all aspects of life in school.
