Autumn Term 2014
As we come to the end of this year, I have been so proud of all the class for making their very own story books based on WW1. They made a huge effort to add detail and description. They edited their work and wrote them up in their neatest handwriting. I hope you enjoyed reading them.
We even had an afternoon reading to FS2 which was lovely to see. The little ones really enjoyed listening to the stories and were very impressed!
Happy Christams to everyone, and see you all in 2015
Thank you to all the parents who joined us for our Poetry Performance Assembly . We were very proud of the children for learning all their lines to the poems and they delivered them brilliantly. Thank you for all your lovely comments.
Children In Need
We had a fantastic day for Children in Need, thank you to everyone for dressing up and bringing in contributions.
Our topic is on World war 1 this half term ,we will learn all about how animals were used in the war. We had a fantastic start this week when a theatre company came to school and we learnt about the war through drama, songs and poems.
We are loving our new book The little hen and the Great War and have already started collecting interesting words and phrases we would like to use in our own stories.
