  • Football tournament

    29/04/16

Saturday morning saw the JG boys Football Team return to the Rushcliffe tournament. In a very tough group including the last tournament winners and what turned out to be this tournament’s winners. The boys went unbeaten in all of their games. Three goal-less draws, a score draw and a win meant they came third in their group, a great achievement. Well done boys, brilliant performances from everyone. Good luck to the girls this weekend in their tournament. Thank you to Mr Hassall and Mrs Thompson for leading this event.

  • Local Author Visit

    09/03/16

Ian Douglas, a local History Author, visited school in February. He spoke to all KS2 about life in Victorian Nottingham, with some great facts and photos. Some children had his book at home.

A small group then had the opportunity to work with him on writing a story about being a child working in a mine. We cannot wait to read them when they are published!
